Information

The Pepperberry has five guest rooms: the Garret Loft; Portico; Spa; Garden and Coast. All are fitted with queen beds except the Portico, which has a king, and the Garden, which has a queen and a single. The Garret Loft and Portico have fireplaces, and there are air-jet tubs in the Spa and the Garret.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and standard amenities include Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries, plush houserobes, down duvets, hair dryers, clock/radio alarms, cable television, irons and ironing boards.

There is a guest fridge (with complimentary bottled water and fruit juices) and a tea/coffee making facility in the Butler's Pantry.

The Pepperberry has a large film library (over 500 titles) and wireless internet.

There is free parking at the Pepperberry and public transport to downtown stops opposite.

The Pepperberry was used as a location during the filming of "A Glimpse of Hell" and the TV movie "October 1970".

Please check in between 3 pm and 6 pm unless other arrangements have been made.

Breakfast is normally served between 8 am and 9 am in the dining room and sunroom.

The Pepperberry is a smoke free home.

Pets cannot be permitted. There is a cat on the premises.

The Pepperberry is within 5 - 10 minutes of the Universities of Mount Saint Vincent, Dalhousie, St. Mary's and Dal Tech as well as the NS College of Art and Design. Churches such as St. James' (Anglican), Bethany (United) and St. Agnes (Catholic) are nearby as are the function venues of the Ashburn Golf Club and the yachting clubs of St. Mary's, Waegwoltic and Armdale.

Rates

Rates at the Pepperberry include a full three-course breakfast and are based on single or double occupancy. Rates vary with the season and are subject to change at any time without notice.

Discounts are available for reservations of 3 nights or more during the high season and special discounts are offered in the off-season (see 'Packages Information' page).

All rates are in Canadian dollars and exclude 13% sales tax.

Payment

Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit or Cash. We also accept travelers cheques.

Cancellations

To avoid charges, cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to arrivals in the high season (May - October) and at least 48 hours prior to arrival in the off season (November - April). After that, you will be charged for the room nights you have reserved unless we are able to re-book the space. We recommend travel insurance to our guests.
